Electroplated Coatings
Electroplated Coatings
Functional metallic coatings can be applied via electroplated coating processes. A component's performance across its entire working life can be enhanced by improving its slide properties and resistance to corrosion and wear.

We offer the optimum coating for any application. Zinc phosphatizing overlays improve the slide properties of tribologically stressed surfaces, protect steel parts from corrosion, and serve as a slide layer for non-cutting forming processes or as a primer for polymer coatings and lacquers.

Manganese phosphatizing layers ensure outstanding slide properties for reducing wear in machine components, engine and gear components and threaded joints.

Electroless nickel can be applied within very narrow tolerances to prevent corrosion and wear, and adheres to the precise contours of metallic materials. Special bonding agents can be used to apply electroless nickel even to high-alloy aluminum alloys and hardened steels.

Electroless nickel dispersion layers allow adjustment of slide properties and protect against wear.

Superplate® E is a specially developed nickel coating which provides high ductility and impressive corrosionproofing. It is particularly suitable for fuel injection parts and other engine and gearbox components.
