An apprenticeship at Miba is a gateway to an exciting future, and can be the first step in a promising career. Around a third of our employees in Austria started their working lives as apprentices at Miba, and many of them are now in managerial positions. At our three Austrian sites (Laakirchen, Vorchdorf and Roitham) we train around 90 apprentices to be production technicians or electrical engineering technicians, and then take them on as employees once they have completed their training.
Young people who undergo an apprenticeship at Miba are offered interesting challenges in an international setting and plenty of opportunities for development and foreign experience. In addition, apprentices have the option of combining their training with study at an HTL (upper secondary technical and vocational college). Miba also provides support for talented potential employees by funding scholarships at universities of applied science.
