Staff development plays a major role at Miba, reflecting the fact that Life-long Learning is one of our four values. From apprentices all the way up to senior managers, every employee benefits professionally and personally from the opportunities and staff development options available.
We work hard to ensure we can fill managerial positions with internal hires. With that in mind, we have put special emphasis on tailored development activities and national and international management development programs for many years.
At the core of our programs is the Miba Leadership Academy, an intensive training program for 'high potentials' and 'high performers'. Activities are geared to corporate leadership, employee leadership and self-management. Participants are expected to develop a shared understanding of leadership, and one of the objectives is to help build an international network within the world of Miba.
