Miba Sinter Group’s R&D team focuses on providing customers with cost-effective solutions. Engineering support is provided in the areas of application design and materials/processing development for challenging PM technology components.
Examples of the Miba Sinter Group’s technological competence include the development of complete modules and performance-optimized component design using FEM tools. For near-reality functional testing, we use engine and transmission test rigs for dynamic and static testing.

Millions of vehicles on the road are benefiting from the highly reliable surface densification process Densgrad® which we developed. With Denscal® we have successfully brought to market the first ever series-production dog ring with density > 7.4 g/cm3.
Denscomp® is a process that opens up completely new types of application for sintered components. With Denscomp® we can provide densities up to 7.4 g/cm3 via single press/single sinter technology.
