Chemical nickel plating of your components

TAILORCOAT® ENiP is a nickel-phosphorus alloy that is deposited on workpieces without current true to contour, even on workpieces with complex geometries.

It offers excellent wear and corrosion resistance. TAILORCOAT® ENiP Mid-P has a phosphorus content of 6 - 9 wt%.This high phosphorus content makes the coating ductile, corrosion-resistant and offers pressure resistance. With heat treatment a recrystallization of the nickel phosphides is possible whereby the hardness of nickel phosphorus increases and results in an improved wear protection

Zinc phosphating of your components

ZnPh coatings on carbon steels and spring steels improve the tribological properties e.g. of clutch plates. Due to the improved tribological properties, stick-slip effects are avoided and seizure and fretting corrosion are prevented.

Zinc-phosphate surfaces prevent from corrosion and are used as a primer for sliding laquers. Zinc-phosphate serves as a lubricant with antiabrasive effect, e.g., for better machining in non-cutting forming processes such as drawing and pressing.

The process

TAILORCOAT® coatings are chemical, electroless platings. When the components are dipped into the solution, the previously defined layer is applied by chemical reactions of the metallic surfaces. Depending on the requirements, the layer thickness or the phosphorus content during the chemical nickel plating can be adjusted. Partial coating is also possible using certain processes.

Our coating process is designed for rack goods and the max. dimensions are 900/600/700 mm.
