Miba AG Competition – General Eligibility Requirements

These Eligibility Requirements govern participation in the NIO Race Day in Oxford competition. The entity legally responsible for executing the competition is Miba AG, Dr.-Mitterbauer-Str. 3, 4663 Laakirchen, Austria. Participation is free of charge, voluntary and independent of purchase of goods or services from Miba AG.

1. Requirements to participate in the competition
Persons age 18 or older are eligible to participate, with the exception of employees and their family members, authorized representatives, legal successors and agents of the Miba Group ("participants"). Only one entry is allowed per person.

Miba AG reserves the right to exclude people from participating in the competition at any time, even without providing any reasons. This is particularly the case if there is suspicion that these Eligibility Requirements have been violated or that an advantage has been gained through manipulation or any other improper or unfair behavior. In the cases listed above, the prize can also be retroactively withdrawn and an alternative winner declared. In addition, the competition may be canceled at any time without indicating the reasons, particularly if the competition cannot properly be conducted for legal or technical reasons. 

2. Execution of the competition, prize and notifying the winner
Participation in the competition is part of the NIO race partnership of the NIO Formula E Team at the Zurich E-Prix on June 10, 2018. Persons eligible to participate may enter the drawing by completely and truthfully filling out the competition form.

You may enter the competition between May 30 and June 30, 2018.

The prize that will be drawn is one day spent with the NIO Developer Team in Oxford, including airfare and overnight accommodation. The date and time will be established in consultation with the winner. The prize may not be redeemed for cash value. No correspondence may be exchanged with regard to the competition.

A winner will be determined from among all eligible participants by July 3, 2018 at the latest using a random number generator. In addition, Miba AG will publish the winner's name on Facebook. Miba AG will also inform the winner that he or she has won in writing.

Miba AG has no obligation to perform research to obtain correct e-mail or mailing addresses. Any losses caused by the participant indicating incorrect contact information will be borne by the participant, and his or her win will be deemed invalid according to this provision. We assume no liability for competition entries that are illegible, incomplete or late.

3. Other
We are not liable for slight negligence, with the exception of injuries to life, body or health and within the scope of the Austrian Product Liability Act.

Austrian law applies to the exclusion of the conflict of law rules of private international law only insofar as compelling provisions of the law of the state in which the consumer has his or her habitual residence are not superseded.
