PREcharge Module

Is typically situated within a battery junction box, designed to safely precharge the capacitances in an electric vehicle. The module combines a precharge resistor with a high voltage relay, along with customer specific HV/LV terminals. It is responsible for managing the entire precharge process of the DC-link, ensuring a smooth and safe startup of the vehicle’s electrical system.

DIScharge Module

The dis-charge module ensures a fast and safe discharge of the DC-link capacitor in crash situations. The combination of fuseable discharge resistor and pyroswitch offers numerous savings in the battery electric vehicle (BEV) manufacturing process.
