Anyone who needs electrical energy on a construction site, at events, in rescue and disaster protection or at mountain huts knows the problem: the diesel generators used up to now have long since failed to meet expectations in terms of sustainability and climate protection. The VOLTstation®, developed by Miba Battery Systems, a company based in Mühlviertel, Austria, and part of the Miba Group, now provides a remedy. It is a mobile battery energy storage system that will increasingly replace conventional diesel generators.

The VOLTstation® enables quiet, clean, emission-free as well as cost-optimized operation. With increasing fuel prices as well as the cost advantage of night power, the mobile energy storage system shows its advantages. More than 70 employees at Miba Battery Systems in Bad Leonfelden develop and produce battery systems for mobile applications such as work machines, electric vehicles, boats, motorcycles and drones. Additional employees are being sought on an ongoing basis. The company is part of the Miba Group, which develops and produces technologies for the efficient generation, transmission, storage and use of energy at 30 production sites worldwide. The Austrian family-owned company employs 7,500 people worldwide.
