Markus Ber, Site Manager Miba Sinter Austria in Vorchdorf since 2003, will be appointed new COO (Chief Operating Officer) Miba Friction Group as of April 1, 2012, and will thus join the management board of Miba Friction Holding. He will be in charge of the division’s worldwide production and purchasing activities. In his new function, Ber will directly report to F. Peter Mitterbauer, CEO Miba Friction Group. “I am proud and truly delighted that we are able to fill this position with a top manager from our own ranks,” says F. Peter Mitterbauer.

Prior to his move to Miba Group, Ber (50) was, among other things, Head of Mechanical Production and before that Head of Purchasing at Bombardier-Rotax GmbH (Gunskirchen) as well as Head of Development at A. Artweger GesmbH (Bad Ischl). Markus Ber is married and has three grown-up children. As an enthusiastic skier and racing cyclist, he is living Miba’s claim Innovation in Motion also in his leisure time.
