The summer vacations in Austria are very long, which often presents a challenge for working parents. To help employees with childcare during this time, Miba organized a three-week vacation program for its employees' children this summer for the eighth year in a row. With 110 participants, more children were cared for this year than in any previous year.

Divided into three age groups between four and 14 years, the Miba vacation program gives children a playful approach to technical and scientific topics. To this end, the Miba Forum in Laakirchen is transformed into a space for workshops, experiments and exciting group activities. 

"As a family business, it is important to us to provide working parents with the best possible support for childcare. In this way, we want to make a contribution to improving the compatibility of family and career - and to equal opportunities for women and men," says Miba CEO F. Peter Mitterbauer. The Miba crèche in Laakirchen also makes an important contribution to this.
