DIScharging resistors are used to discharge the DC link capacitors after an electric car has been switched off. Preferably they are used in inverters.
The high-voltage-resistant and non-inductive design enables various circuit designs. Our discharge resistors are characterized by a compact and lightweight design, which also allows mounting on printed circuit boards.
We are happy to integrate several types of resistors in one package. This also saves size and weight.

The high dielectric strength of the resistor enables it to be used in inverters with system voltages of up to 1.5 kV.
Thanks to our process know-how, we can manufacture bleeding resistors that are particularly small. Due to the special circuit design, as well as the constant power pulse discharge, the size is reduced again compared to the single pulse application. This is because smaller design also means lower weight.
